Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Start your journey with a warm welcome upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, where our team will be ready to greet you. You'll then be smoothly transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure—take time to unwind from your flight, explore the local area at your own pace, or simply relax at the hotel.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning Newar architecture, ancient temples, and rich artistic heritage. Explore its courtyards, intricately carved structures, and the renowned Patan Museum. Next, head to Swayambhunath Stupa, or the Monkey Temple, one of Nepal’s oldest and most sacred Buddhist sites, offering sweeping views of Kathmandu and spiritual ambiance. The evening is free for leisure—enjoy shopping, exploring, or relaxing. Spend the night in Kathmandu, cherishing your final evening in this culturally vibrant city.

Day 3 Bardia National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport for a scenic 45-minute flight to Nepalgunj, marking the start of your Bardiya National Park adventure. Enjoy sweeping views of Nepal’s diverse landscapes en route. Upon arrival, the Green Valley Nepal Treks team will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After some time to relax and lunch, embark on a cultural tour of a nearby Tharu village, followed by a visit to an elephant breeding center. End the day with a beautiful sunset over the Karnali River.

After an immersive first day with the Tharu community and a restful night in the Terai, your day begins with a 6:00 a.m. wake-up call, followed by breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Today’s adventure is a thrilling jungle walk in Bardiya National Park, guided by expert naturalists. You'll explore the wilderness on foot, spot diverse wildlife and birds, and possibly encounter the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger during a half-day tiger tracking session from a Machan (watchtower). After an adventurous day of jungle walking, you might feel tempted to oversleep—but worry not, our team will give you a wake-up call at 6:00 a.m. Freshen up and be ready for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Today’s activity is a full-day jeep safari in Bardiya National Park, allowing you to comfortably explore the park and spot a variety of wildlife and birds. Later, visit a crocodile breeding center to learn about conservation efforts. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Tharu cultural dance performed at your hotel. Day 6 Shuklaphanta National Park

After enjoying breakfast at the resort, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Shuklaphanta National Park, a journey of approximately four hours from Bardiya. The route offers beautiful views of the Terai landscape, passing through rural villages and lush greenery. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll check in to your resort and have the rest of the day to relax and unwind in the tranquil natural surroundings. Take this time to recharge and prepare for the adventures ahead in Shuklaphanta. All meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—will be provided at the resort, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay.

Begin your day early with an exciting jeep safari through Shuklaphanta National Park, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. As you journey through grasslands, forests, and wetlands, witness the park's rich biodiversity, which includes 423 bird species and 46 mammal species—18 of which are protected under CITES. You may encounter majestic creatures like the Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, one-horned rhinoceros, swamp deer, sloth bear, elephant, and the elusive hispid hare. On the final day of your Nepal Wildlife Program, start with an early breakfast. Afterwards, our representatives will assist you with your transfer to the domestic airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and escorted to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. This marks the end of your wildlife adventure, giving you time to relax and reflect on the incredible experiences before continuing your journey or departure.

After breakfast at your hotel, set out to explore the Kathmandu Valley’s rich heritage. Begin at Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest stupas and a major Tibetan Buddhist pilgrimage site. Next, visit Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, famed for its ancient architecture and spiritual ceremonies by the Bagmati River. Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring centuries-old palaces, temples, and courtyards that reflect Nepal’s royal and cultural history.
