We look forward to welcoming you to India. This guide is designed to help HI TOURS GROUP guests prepare for a smooth journey. Please complete the applicable entry formalities before departure and keep copies of important documents readily accessible.

01 / BEFORE YOU FLY

Three essential checks

Complete these steps before departure. Where indicated, the forms are free government services.

01

Passport & India visa

REQUIRED AS APPLICABLE

Confirm that you hold the correct visa, OCI card or other valid entry authorisation for your nationality and purpose of travel. Check that your passport meets the requirements for your visa category.

For e-Visa applicants, the official portal may require at least six months' passport validity on arrival and two blank pages. Travel only once your ETA shows GRANTED; carry a copy.

02

Digital e-Arrival Card

FOREIGN NATIONALS & OCI HOLDERS

Foreign nationals and OCI cardholders should submit the online e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival. This is an arrival-information declaration, not a visa.

Have your passport, arrival details and first accommodation address ready. Keep the confirmation on your phone or printed. Free of charge.

INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS

International passengers arriving in India must complete the online Passenger Health Self-Declaration. The form can be submitted up to 24 hours before arrival, preferably before boarding.

06 / DESTINATION-SPECIFIC ADVICE

Visiting Sikkim? Only if applicable

Foreign visitors to Sikkim generally require a Restricted Area Permit (RAP), subject to nationality/origin-specific exceptions and prior clearances. Certain destinations also require a Protected Area Permit (PAP). Some areas are not open to foreign travellers, and special advance permission may be needed.

Please keep ready a passport copy, valid Indian visa / e-Visa copy, two passport-size photographs and your original passport for verification, as applicable. Some travellers may need prior approval. HI TOURS GROUP will assist with applicable permit arrangements, subject to approval by the authorities.
